Eat lots of brussels sprouts. These have a high amount of dietary fiber and they can help lower your cholesterol. Why are you not eating more brussels sprouts? All you have to do is steam brussels sprouts. That's it. Brussels sprouts are more nutritious when they are steamed. Buy this steamer  that doubles as a rice cooker. It's 100% worth it. The Brussels sprout is a cruciferous vegetable. You can basically go nuts with cruciferous vegetables because they are very nutritious. I would probably dip them in some kind of sauce.
